SHIFTING OF HOCK TECK TEMPLE
In the early 1990 our temple were told by the authority to move out of this area and a letter was being serve. We were lost at that time as to where can we shift Our Pek Kong so that His devotee could continue praying. Just when we starting to source around a mysterious happen, devotees of Tao Tian Keng approach us to have a united temple at that time all Pek Kong devotees was caught surprise, and say Pek Kong have answer our prayer and our problem is resolve. The construction of Tao Tian Keng Temple completed in year 2000.
在 1990 年初期，本廟截获有关当局的搬迁书信。当时理事们都彷徨着如何找地方搬迁，才刚展开寻问，一件很玄的事情发生，斗天宫的理事出现与本廟理事商讨联合。本廟的理事都欢喜地说：大伯公显灵了。
斗天宫会在 2000 年建完毕。
In year 2000 Tao Tian Keng (dou tian gong) was built as an united temple for the original Tao Tian Keng from Choa Chu Kang 12th milestone and Chwee Long Tow Tua Pek Kong Temple from Tong Watt Road (水廊頭大伯公福德神廟).
Choa Chu Kang 12th milestone's Tao Tian Keng is the main occupant of the the united temple. Chwee Long Tow Tua Pek Kong's 水廊頭大伯公 shrine occupies a corner in the main hall.
Chwee Long Tow is the colloquial name for the Mohamed Sultan Road's area, which means 'water factory' in Hokkien/Teochew, in reference to the former Ice factory at Merbau Road. The ice factory, known as Straits Ice Co. Ltd, was a subsidiary of Cold Storage. It probably started operation in 1901 or earlier.
斗天宫是由蔡厝港十二英哩的斗天宫与及坐落于Tong Watt Road的水廊头大伯公宫联合组成，两庙于2000年迁移至现址。联合宫是以斗天宫为主，水廊头大伯公宫的神龛只占了正殿一角。
Tong Watt Road 是 Mohamed Sultan Road 旁的小路，而水廊头（水工厂的意思）是莫罕默苏丹路（Mohamed Sultan Road）一带的俗称，因附近的慕宝路曾经有间冰厂。这冰厂是附属于 Cold Storage 的 Straits Ice Co. Ltd ，大概在1901年或之前开始营业。
